Image2Punch Pro

It is developed specifically for those who want to use the full capabilities and potential of Image2Punch for their perforated metal project. Users can convert their perforated pattern design up to 1 million hits/holes(Round shape tool only) without having to use the CAD conversion service. Although users must pay for the license fee, a free update for any bug fixes will be free.

Image2Punch Lite

It is specifically developed for those who want to use Image2Punch for their perforated metal project but do not want to use all the potential that Image2Punch can offer. The maximum tool hit will be limited to 25K hits. Image2Punch Lite is suitable for those who do not want to use the CAD conversion service and the full capabilities of Image2Punch Pro for their perforated metal project.

Image2Punch Genesis

It is specifically developed for those who do not wish to purchase the licence fee but are willing to pay the CAD conversion service in order to get the perforated pattern design in a DXF format. The benefit is clear: users only need to pay for their DXF format (i.e. only for the result). There is no licence fee for Image2Punch Genesis. This type of service is suitable for those who are in the beginning stages of experiencing Image2Punch for their perforated metal project. However, the maximum toolhit on Image2Punch Genesis are limited to only 50K hits.

Minimum Gap Tolerance for Image2Punch

Due to rounding error when doing computation, there will be tolerance limit for Minimum Gap that is specified for all uniform pattern ( i.e. Rectangle, Angle, Circular and Spiral ).  The tolerance for the gap will be +/- 0.001 Unit Measurement. For example, if the Minimum Gap is specified as 2.0mm, the final result when the distance measure in DXF file will be in between 1.999mm and 2.001mm as illustrated below.

 

For all Random Patterns including Stippling Pattern, the tolerance will be used as guidance only as the calculation of each hole position will be done in a random way with some guidance parameters.
